Chronic Kidney Disease of unknown etiology (CKDu) has become a foremost health issue across rural farming communities in several tropical countries around the world including in Sri Lanka. Our mission is to use Sri Lankan farming communities (e.g., Padaviya and Medirigiriya) affected by this disease to understand the factors driving CKDu.
